The class is a broader survey of the last 2,000 years of the church. The focus of this 12-week class is the theology behind different periods of church history, including the early church and key ecumenical councils, as well as the Reformation and the Puritans. The hope of this class is to help believers understand that a true understanding of Sola Scriptura is not intended to neglect creeds, councils, confessions, and catechisms, but rather to set them as helpful guideposts as we savor and interpret Scripture.
