The Facilities Associate helps to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the building and facility. He or she will handle building repairs and oversee both janitorial and lawn maintenance services. They may also conduct and maintain building inventories, put together furniture and schedule the use or rental of the building or grounds.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with maintaining the facility in a presentation-ready, clean state
  • Oversee the logistics of the campus during church events Assist with maintaining building security
  • Perform basic facility tasks as required (painting, drywall repair, minor plumbing problems)
  • Review and submit invoices for payment using our accounting software
  • Assist the Facilities Director with various projects as needed

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of facilities, electrical, plumbing, painting, and housekeeping
  • Basic mechanical skill and safety awareness
  • Experience using hand, power, measurement, and diagnostic tools
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Availability on nights and weekends (Sunday and Wednesday required)
  • Proficient in Google Suite products (GMail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc)
  • Proficient in English communication

Job Type: Part-Time Hours: 28 hours per week

The Ministry Assistant will support the Lead Pastor and Northway Training department by managing commitments, communication, tasks, and event coordination as needed.

Responsibilities and Qualifications


  • Organize and schedule Lead Pastor, Elder, and Preaching Schedule calendars
  • Plan and oversee logistics for speaking requests, conferences, and strategic meetings
  • Manage and order supplies for Northway Training, offsite meetings, and various staff events
  • Assist in meetings for Lead Pastor by taking minutes and following up on necessary action items Coordinate and schedule events such as staff retreats, internal meetings, members meetings, etc Assist with organizing, preparing, and submitting monthly ministry expenses
  • Conserve Lead Pastor’s time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence as needed
  • Assist the Lead Pastor with other miscellaneous administrative tasks

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Agree with Northway Church’s Statement of Faith and commit to exhibit a lifestyle that is consistent with the same
  • High School degree required Ministry experience preferred
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, work ethic, and dependability
  • Ability to adapt to a continually evolving environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google applications
