Position Summary

The Mission & Mobilization Assistant plays an integral part in the ministerial efforts of Mission & Mobilization at Northway Church by helping organize and execute short-term trips and fulfill other crucial administrative responsibilities.


Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain administrative systems and processes for the Mission & Mobilization Department
  • Assist the Pastor of Missions and Mobilization with various administrative tasks, including but not limited to, email organization, and calendar management
  • Handle planning and logistics for all Missions and Mobilization events such as room reservations, resource scheduling, and coordinating hospitality 
  • Assist with annual budget preparation and evaluate periodically to ensure accuracy
  • Organize, prepare, and submit monthly ministry expenses
  • Understand and communicate the mission, vision, and values of the Northway Church and the Northway Church Missions and Mobilization Department 
  • Plan, Organize & Maintain Northway’s short and longer-term Go Trips alongside the Pastor of Missions and Mobilization
  • Collect, organize and store travel documents for Go Trips
  • Set up new Go Trips in our internal software and oversee the administration of each trip
  • Book all travel for participants including airfare, lodging, rental vehicles, etc
  • Work closely with the Finance Department to collect and properly code funding for each trip 
  • Research prospective countries to collect information on what documents we will need to collect, what insurance will be needed, what special laws or policies we should be aware of, etc.
  • Communicate important trip details, meeting invitations, status updates, and more to trip participants and Missions and Mobilization Team
  • Assist with the development of necessary Mission Trip Policies for Northway Church
  • Develop and track budgets for each Go Trip
  • Attend team meetings and help with the execution of team goals
  • Organize and communicate pertinent updates to the church body
  • Learn and participate in staff meetings, development, and training


Qualifications and Requirements

  • Agree with Northway Church’s Statement of Faith and commit to exhibit a lifestyle that is consistent with the same
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience using Managed Missions software preferred 
  • Experience planning and executing trips preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Heart for God’s work among all peoples
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, work ethic, and dependability
  • Ability to adapt to a continually evolving environment
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to take on new projects as they arise


Job Type: Part-Time

Hours: 28 per week

Position Summary 

The objective of the Operations Associate is to assist the HR & Operations Manager in the administration of HR, Finance, and Facilities for the organization. 


Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the HR & Operations Manager to develop and implement new policies and procedures 
  • Assist in preparing and presenting administrative processes and softwares to our staff
  • Oversee all rooms, resource, and event requests in espace and ensure it matches our master calendar of events 
  • Serve as a point of contact with all HR, Finance, and Operations vendors and administrators
  • Support the HR & Operations Manager and the Executive Pastor of Operations with budget development and coding oversight
  • Create and organize financial reports for the Executive Pastor of Operations, the HR & Operations Manager, and the elders as requested
  • Handle the processing of payroll and resolve any payroll errors
  • Oversee the collection and processing of tithe in an ethical and timely manner
  • Develop and manage a volunteer team to assist with the processing of tithe 
  • Oversee staff expense reports to ensure timely submission and correct financial coding
  • Assist in the onboarding of all new staff by ordering necessary technology and swag and creating new employee accounts
  • Attend weekly staff meetings for prayer and planning purposes
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Qualifications and Requirements

  • Agree with Northway Church’s Statement of Faith and commit to exhibit a lifestyle that is consistent with the same
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Drive, Sheets, etc.)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently and confidentially
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize assigned projects to meet deadlines
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience preparing and processing payroll preferred 
  • Experience with Excel preferred
