Lead Communities Minister


The Lead Minister, Gospel Communities will provide pastoral care and oversight for the Gospel Communities, staff, leaders and coaches. They will implement the mission, vision, and purpose of Gospel Communities.


The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Shepherd and oversee Gospel Communities
  • Cast vision and equip members to flourish in Gospel Communities
  • Plan and oversee the execution of GC trainings, curriculum, and events
  • Develop and execute ongoing leadership equipping strategies
  • Advocate for GC’s (and values therein) as representative leader of department
  • Manage GC staff, along with administrative support and interns
  • Guide Northway GC’s to implement the structure of C3s as a desired value of discipleship and accountability in Gospel Communities
  • Develop and execute intuitive process for all looking to be involved in Gospel Communities
  • Ensure members needing specialized care receive proper oversight and biblical direction from Northway Church elders, coordinating with members of other departments on all matters pertaining to their care
  • Regularly meet with members, coaches and leaders to equip and shepherd


  • Agree with Northway Church’s Statement of Faith and commit to exhibit a lifestyle that is consistent with the same
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Ordination preferred
  • 3 or more years of ministry experience required
  • 2 or more years of managerial experience required
  • Knowledge of groups philosophy and ministry required
  • Proven experience in leading in ministry
  • Strong theological background
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Google Suite products (GMail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc)
