Facilities Associate

Position Summary

The Facilities Associate helps to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the building and facility. He or she will handle building repairs and oversee both janitorial and lawn maintenance services. They may also conduct and maintain building inventories, put together furniture and schedule the use or rental of the building or grounds.  


Job Responsibilities
  • Assist with maintaining the facility in a presentation-ready, clean state
  • Oversee the logistics of the campus during church events
  • Assist with maintaining building security
  • Perform basic facility tasks as required (painting, drywall repair, minor plumbing problems)
  • Review and submit invoices for payment using our accounting software 
  • Assist the Facilities Director with various projects as needed

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of facilities, electrical, plumbing, painting, and housekeeping
  • Basic mechanical skill and safety awareness
  • Experience using hand, power, measurement, and diagnostic tools
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Availability on nights and weekends (Sunday and Wednesday required)
  • Proficient in Google Suite products (GMail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc)

Job Type: Part-Time
Hours: 28 hours per week
