Connections Internship Opportunity
Position Summary
The Connections Intern assists in administrative tasks while being equipped for vocational ministry by ministering to church guests, members, and volunteers.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with strategic planning, administration, and organization such as database management and weekly communication with volunteers
- Learn to recruit, train, and shepherd teams of volunteers for Connections Ministry
- Participate in weekly theological/ministry training through our Northway Training program
- Welcome guests and initiate first time guest follow-ups
- Funnel guests through the various venues of connecting at Northway Church
- Learn the theological intricacies of church membership and assist in the processing of new membership applications at Northway Church
- Learn the various operational components of our Sunday services, as well as assist in the execution of each service
- Assist in the planning and execution of various events in the Connection department
Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong initiative and teachability
- Enjoys working with people
- Organized with a personable and professional demeanor
- Agree with Northway Church’s Statement of Faith and commit to exhibit a lifestyle that is consistent with the same
- Comprehensive understanding of the gospel
- Proficient in Google Apps (Gmail, Drive, Docs, and Calendar)
- Other tasks and projects as determined by the Connections Coordinator
