Leader Summit

Who is Leader Summit For? Anyone who currently serves in a ministry or hopes to jump into serving at Northway. You might ask, "but isn't this for leaders at the church?" If you are serving at Northway you are undoubtedly a leader here!

Purpose: To gather leaders and recruit prospective leaders for the purpose of equipping and providing meaningful next steps toward service at Northway Church as the Lord leads us onward. 

Breakouts: Breakouts are a chance for existing volunteers to hear from their ministry leaders and for prospective volunteers to hear about the purpose and involvment oppritunities for each ministry. The schedule is constructed so that you are able to attend multiple breakout sessions, if you are interested in multiple ministries. However please note there is only one extended breakout time for Gospel Communities. The breakouts listed in "Breakout Option 1" and "Breakout Option 2" will be identical sessions so don't plan to attend the same session twice. You are free to attend one, two or none of the breakout sessions. 

• Communications: Come and find out how you can use your creative gifting for the Glory of God in the local church. This breakout is for anyone interested in serving through graphic design, social media, or photo/video. We will talk about the purpose and goal of communications at Northway and discuss practical next steps for getting involved. 
• Connections: This breakout is for anyone serving or interested in serving on the parking team, greeting team, or at connection central. We want everyone who attends Northway to feel welcome and that they belong and that could not happen without the Connections Ministry. 
• Gospel Communities: If you are serving or interested in serving as a Gospel Community leader, you will not want to miss this breakout. We will cover key updates for Gospel Communities as we launch into the next year, as well as discuss important details around the gospel community database and keeping your information up to date. 
• Missions & Mobilization: Come Find Your Place in God's Story! In this breakout learn about how the Lord is at work among all nations and among our neighbors in Dallas. We will also give you specific next steps for involvement and important dates for Missions and Mobilization for Fall 2021. 
• NextGen: In this breakout come to hear about our vision for ministry to families and how to get plugged in with Northway Next Gen ministries! We will have testimonies of how God is moving among our kids, an overview of ways to serve, and next steps for those who want to get started. We invite you to come be part of the good work of telling the next generation who God is!
• Production: If you want to serve Northway through live production, slides, live audio, or lighting come to the production breakout! We are always looking for faithful volunteers to help make Sunday services happen behind the scenes. In this breakout, you'll hear about all of the different opportunities and how you can jump into serving.
